Main Dish Salad.

Ingredients

3 cups Torn greens

4 oz. Deli ham, julienned

4 oz. Deli turkey, julienned

2 oz Swiss cheese, julienned

2 oz Cheddar cheese, julienned

2 Hard boiled eggs, sliced

Salad dressings of choice

2 tbsp. Real bacon pieces

Croutons

2 tbsp. Crumbled bleu cheese (optional)

Preparation

Layer half of lettuce, ham, turkey, Swiss, cheddar and eggs in each of 2 bowls.

Top with dressing as desired. Sprinkle with bacon pieces, croutons and Bleu cheese.

For faster prep, use bagged salad mix and shredded cheese rather than julienne strips.

To make ahead-- layer the letuce, ham, turkey, cheeses & eggs in bowls. Cover with plactic wrap and refrigerate up to 10 hours. When ready to serve, top with dressing, croutons & bleu cheese.

Cook's Notes

You can omit or add salad ingredients (e.g., radishes, cucumbers, etc) as you like.
