South Beach Classic Burger - South Beach Diet (Phase 1)
Ingredients
1-1/2 pounds Lean ground beef
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
2 ounces Low-fat Swiss cheese slices
4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
4 Green leaf lettuce leaves
1 Medium tomato, sliced
1 Small red onion, thinly sliced
Preparation
Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high.
Mix together beef, salt, and pepper, form into 4 patties. Grill patties to desired doneness, 4 minutes per side for medium. Top with cheese and cover; cook until cheese is melted, 1 minute.
Remove from heat, spread with mustard, and top with lettuce, tomato, and onion; serve.
