This recipe was excellent but you can make the cheese flavor more intense by combining freshly grated parmesan and romano (or pecorino) rather than parmesan cheese alone. Also, you can cut fat by using combining 1/2 cup mayo and 1/2 cup of plain yogurt (or use light mayo to begin with) for the 1 cup of mayo called for. If you like texture, add lightly chopped water chestnuts or almonds which will give you a sassy,light crunch. For spicier dip, add a couple of drops of Cholula hot sauce. Cholula is a hot sauce that has a lovely spicy flavor. There are just loads of ways to alter this dish to the particular people being served.
