1 1/2 pounds Italian sausage, decased, chunky
2 cloves Garlic
2 Large onions, chopped
1 Large can Italian tomatoes, cut or chopped
3 cans Beef broth
1 1/2 cups Dry red wine
1/2 teaspoon Dried basil
3 tablespoons Chopped parsley
1 Medium green pepper, chopped
2 Medium zucchini or other similar squash, sliced
2 cups Butterfly pasta
1. Brown sausage in dutch oven (or heavy, large pot with lid); drain.
2. Add onions and garlic; stir until limp.
3. Stir in tomatoes and all liquid and basil.
4. Simmer 30 minutes.
