I have been making this great recipe since the early years of our marriage (1976). It cuts quite nicely and is a tasty Mexican style dish.
1 cup Bisquick
1/4 cup Water
1 can (16 oz) refried beans
1 lb Ground beef, cooked and drained
1 cup Thick salsa
1 1/2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
Grease a deep dish pie plate. Mix Bisquick, water and beans. Spread in pie plate.
Layer remaining ingredients on bean mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees
Optional: can serve with additional salsa, &/or sour cream, and hot sauce.
