Easy, low calorie and delicious

Ingredients

2 Lg containers of nonfat, unflavored yogurt Drained for 1 hour (longer makes it creamier)
2 cans Crushed pineapple rinsed and drained in own juice
2 cans Mandarin oranges rinsed and drained in ouwn juice
1 bottle Marschino cherries rinsed and drained
1 tsp Almond extract
1 tsp Coconut extract
1/3 cup Coconut
Add Splenda for extra sweetness if desired.

Preparation

Drain the yogurt in a calendar lined with a cheese cloth, the longer you do this the creamer it will be, I have done it for less than an hour or when I have time, up to 4 hours.

While you are waiting for yogurt, rinse and drain the pineapple, oranges, let sit in a calendar.

Rinse cherries in small calendar, cut in half.

Combine yogurt, fruit, add extracts and coconut.

Refrigerate at least an hour and split up in serviing containers.

Cook's Notes

Yogurt cheese is great. It will take on the flavor of what you are adding it too, it is lest fattening than cream cheese and sour cream. Your volume will be less as the whey is drained. 6 cups of yogurt cheese is 199 calories and this is a non fat, low sodium item.
