| 2 | Lg containers of nonfat, unflavored yogurt Drained for 1 hour (longer makes it creamier) |
| 2 cans | Crushed pineapple rinsed and drained in own juice |
| 2 cans | Mandarin oranges rinsed and drained in ouwn juice |
| 1 bottle | Marschino cherries rinsed and drained |
| 1 tsp | Almond extract |
| 1 tsp | Coconut extract |
| 1/3 cup | Coconut |
| | Add Splenda for extra sweetness if desired. |
Drain the yogurt in a calendar lined with a cheese cloth, the longer you do this the creamer it will be, I have done it for less than an hour or when I have time, up to 4 hours.
While you are waiting for yogurt, rinse and drain the pineapple, oranges, let sit in a calendar.
Rinse cherries in small calendar, cut in half.
Combine yogurt, fruit, add extracts and coconut.
Refrigerate at least an hour and split up in serviing containers.
Yogurt cheese is great. It will take on the flavor of what you are adding it too, it is lest fattening than cream cheese and sour cream. Your volume will be less as the whey is drained.
6 cups of yogurt cheese is 199 calories and this is a non fat, low sodium item.
