Coriander-Mint Chutney

This is a very easy dip/sauce to make. You can use it as a spread on toast or wraps. Also ideal for dipping Pappads, Pakoras and Samosas.

Ingredients

1 bunch Green mint

2 bunches Green coriander

2 Medium onions(Peeled)

2-3 Green chillies

2 teaspoons Sugar

1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon Salt

Preparation

1. Pick out the leaves from the the mint bunch.

2. Coarsely chop coriander and onions.

3. Place all of the above in a collander and rinse thoroughly with cold water.

4. In a blender, put all the washed ingredients. Add lemon juice, salt, sugar and green chillies. Blend till the mixture is a fine paste.

Cook's Notes

Serve chilled. Great to serve with Samosas, Kabobs or pakoras. Can be kept in the Refrigerator for upto 2 weeks. The spice can be controlled by adding less or more of the green chillies.
