Chinese Pepper Steak

Ingredients

Marinade:

1/4 c. Soy sauce

1 t. Rice vinegar

2 t. Sugar

2 t. Corn starch

1 c. White/brown rice

1 lb. Flank steak - cut into strips

2 t. Canola oil, divided

2 Green bell pepppers

1/4 t. Ground ginger

Preparation

Prepare marinade.

Add steak.

Heat 1 t. oil over medium-hot heat. Add peppers. Stir fry until crisp-tender (3 mins)

Place peppers on a plate.

Heat 1 t. oil, add ginger (30 secs)

Add steak w/marinade.

Stir fry until steak is cooked (2-3 mins)

Add peppers, stir fry until heated (1 min)

Serve over white rice.

Cook's Notes

I would probably substitute brown rice
