Char Smith's Winning Cream of Crab Soup

Found by my mother in newspaper many years ago, CAUTION definelty NOT low-FAT or low-CAL!!!!

Ingredients

1 lb. Maryland Crab Meat
1 tblsp Fresh Parsley
2-3 tblsp Old Bay
1/2 stick Butter
2 pints Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Qt. Half-N-Half
1 pint Milk
 Corn starch
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper

Preparation

Bring Milk, Half-N-Half, and Cream to boil. Add Crab, Parsley, Old Bay, Butter, Salt, and Pepper. When it starts to boil make a paste of Corn Starch and water to thicken soup, add to soup and stir until combined. Turn heat down and allow to simmer gently for about 1 hour, do not allow to burn!

Use caution with dairy products so that they do not scorch!
