Szechwan Shrimp

This is a spicy shrimp recipe that makes a simple, impressive dish.

Ingredients

4 tbsp. Water

2 tbsp. Ketchup

1 tbsp. Soy sauce

2 tsp. Corn starch

1 tsp. Honey

1/2 tsp. Crushed red pepper

1/4 tsp. Ground ginger

1 tbs. Vegtable oil

1/4 cup Sliced green onion

4 cloves Garlic minced

12 oz Cooked shrimp tails removed

Preparation

1. in a bowl, stir together water, ketchup, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, crushed red peppers, and ground ginger. Set aside.

2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in green onions and garlic; cook 30 seconds. Stir in shrimp and toss to coat with oil. Stir in sauce. Cook and stir until sauce is bubbly and thickened.

Cook's Notes

For more or less heat, adjust amount of red pepper flakes.
