Quick and easy grilled sandwich for lunch or light supper.

Ingredients

6 ounces Canned tuna, drained

1 tsp Mrs. Dash Onion & Herb seasoning

1/4 cup Sliced celery (optional)

1- 1 1/2 tbsp Mayonnaise (+ small amount for spreading bread)

1 tbsp Shredded cheddar (optional)

4 slices Bread

2 slices American cheese single slices

Preparation

In small bowl, combine tuna, seasoning, celery, mayonnaise & shredded cheddar.

Spread 2 slices of bread with a very thin layer of mayonnaise. Place spread side down in skillet.

Divide tuna mixture between the two slices of bread in the skillet; top with slice of cheese.

Spread remaining bread slices with very thin layer of mayonnaise. Place spread side up on top of cheese.

Cook over medium-high heat (watch closely) until browned on both sides, turning once during cooking.

Cook's Notes

Use butter or margarine in place of mayonnaise for spreading bread if desired. You can cook these on a Foreman-type grill on medium-high heat rather than a skillet-- just watch closely so they don't burn.
