Overnight Tuna Casserole

Based on an overnight chicken casserole recipe.

Make ahead casserole that gives you an hour to do other things while it bakes. Add 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables or peas for a one-dish meal.

Ingredients

6 ounces Canned tuna, drained

1 cup Cooked medium sized pasta (elbow macaroni, small shells, etc)

1 can Cream of celery soup

1 1/2 cups Milk

1/4 tsp Salt (optional)

1 tbsp Butter or margarine

1/4 tsp Pepper

1/2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Spray a 9X9" baking dish with non-stick spray.

Combine all ingredients except shredded cheddar in prepard baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate overnight.

When ready to prepare, remove & discard plastic wrap. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour

Cook's Notes

Double recipe for 9X13" baking dish to make 8 servings. Top with crushed potato chips, crushed corn flakes or buttered bread crumbs along with the cheese if desired.
