Barbecue-flavored smoked pressed tofu is pressed into action here for a truly satisfying sandwich.

Ingredients
1/3 cup (2 1/2 oz/75 g) fat-free or soy mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Chili powder
4 teaspoons Fresh lime juice
1 16-ounce (480-g) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup (2 oz/60 g) chopped red onion
2 tablespoons Chopped cilantro or parsley
Sea salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
4 Flatbreads, such as lavash or large flour tortillas
4 Leaves romaine lettuce
1 5-ounce (150-g) package barbecue-flavor smoked pressed tofu, sliced
1 Vine-ripened tomato, thinly sliced
1/2 Avocado (optional), thinly sliced
To taste: jalapeƱos, salt, pepper
Preparation
1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, chili powder and 1 teaspoon of the lime juice.
2. In another bowl, lightly mash black beans with a fork. Stir in onions, cilantro or parsley, jalapeƱos, salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons of the chili mayonnaise and the remaining 1 tablespoon lime juice.
3. Place a flatbread on the work surface. Brush with chili mayonnaise and top with a lettuce leaf. Top with one-fourth of the black bean mixture, followed by slices of tofu, tomatoes and avocado, if using. Roll tightly. Repeat with the remaining flatbreads and filling.
