Turkey Noodle Tetrazzini

This recipe is a great way to utilize leftover turkey!

Ingredients

3 c. Nonfat milk
1 Crushed garlic clove
1/4 cup Low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
2 Envelopes low salt chicken instant broth
2 cups Turkey (or chicken), shredded or cubed
Pepper
Chives
1 tablespoon Flour
8 ounces No- yolk noodles

Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.

1. Cook noodles. Drain and put in large casserole dish.

2. Add cooked meat to dish with noodles.

3. On stove, cook milk, garlic, shredded cheese, and chicken broth until cheese melts. thicken with flour.

4. Pour mixture over noodles and meat and mix.

5. Bake for 1 hour.

6. Top with chives

7. Serve hot and enjoy

I used smoked turkey legs that I had in the freezer and added spinach and peas. It was delicious.

I made this with 1lb. of ground turkey. My family liked it very much. I served it with a green salad.
