Korean Barbecued Beef

This marinade is simple, and can be used for chicken, pork, or tofu as well.

Ingredients

1 pound Top Round Sirloin

1 tablespoon Orange Juice

1/4 cup Soy Sauce

1 tsp. Brown Sugar

2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds

1/4 tsp. Ginger

2 cloves Garlic, Minced

Preparation

1. Partially freeze beef.

2. With sharp knife, cut very thin slices across grain.

3. In a small bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Place beef in heavy plastic bag in a shallow dish. Pour in marinade and tie securely, turning several times, for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

4. Pre-heat oven on Medium Broil.

5. Drain beef, reserving marinade.

6. Broil beef 6 inches from source of heat for 10-12 minutes, basting frequently.

7. Slice and enjoy!

I made this recipe and used the meat in a stir fry. It is excellent.
