1. mix chex and peanuts in large roasting pan
2. melt butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and vanilla together over med-high heat. Heat until boiling.
3. pour over cereal, toss well to caot.
4. Bake 45 minutes at 250 edgrees. Remove and stir every 15 minutes
5. Remove from oven and spread out on wax paper to cool. Put into serving bowl or in airtight container and add candy corn.
