Ingredients

2 sticks Butter
1 cup Brown sugar
1/2 cup Light corn syrup
1 tbsp Vanilla
16 oz Corn chex cereal
16 oz Wheat Chex Cereal
2 cups Honey roasted peanuts
2 cups Candy corn

Preparation

1. mix chex and peanuts in large roasting pan

2. melt butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and vanilla together over med-high heat. Heat until boiling.

3. pour over cereal, toss well to caot.

4. Bake 45 minutes at 250 edgrees. Remove and stir every 15 minutes

5. Remove from oven and spread out on wax paper to cool. Put into serving bowl or in airtight container and add candy corn.

I am so excited to have found the base receipe for this chex mix. I had one that is similar and am unable to locate it. Two additional ingredients that are great to add are pretzels and plain m&ms (don't add the m&ms until the end). Thanks for sharing!
