1. Combine milk, flour and eggs in a mixing bowl. You can whisk by hand or use an electic mixer. There should be no lumps when finished.
2. Add the salt and oil, if you would like.
3. Preheat electric griddle to about 325-350 degrees. You can also use a regular pan and stove if you'd prefer.
4. Melt butter onto griddle surface.
5. Using a measuring cup or spoon, pour mixture onto griddle to make your desired pancake shape.
6. When edges of pancake begin to look dry, flip pancake. The underside should be cooked, but not necessarily brown.
7. Continue to cook for another 90 seconds or until side is cooked.
8. Remove from griddle and load with your choice of topping.
9. Reapply butter to griddle after every other batch. I find this keeps the butter on every pancake.
9. Usually, I sprinkle powdered sugar on the pancake, roll it up and eat it using my fingers.
