24 hour salad

Looks great prepared in a glass bowl.

Ingredients

6 c. Lettuce, chopped or torn
6 Eggs, hard boilded and sliced
1 lb Bacon, cooked and crumbled
 Salt
 Pepper
 Sugar
10 oz Package frozen peas, thawed
2 cups Cheddar-jack cheese
1/4 cup Thinly sliced green onion
 Paprika

Preparation

Place 3 cups lettuce in bowl. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar. Layer sliced eggs on lettuce and sprinkle with more salt. On top of eggs, layer in this order: peas, rest of the lettuce, bacon and cheese. Spread mayo over the top. Cover and chill for 24 hours. Garnish with green onions and a sprinling of paprika.
