Teriyaki Beef

This Oriental spiced beef is ideally served over hot cooked rice.

Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. Boneless chuck steak; cut into 1/8" slices

1/4 cup Soy sauce

20 oz. Pineapple chunks; reserve 1/4 cup juice

1 tsp. Finely grated ginger

1 tbsp. Sugar

2 tbsp. Oil

2 cloves Garlic; crushed

3 tbsp. Cornstarch

Preparation

Place steak in crockpot. Separately, combine soy sauce, pineapple juice, ginger, sugar, oil, and garlic. Pour over meat. Cover and cook on LOW 6-7 hours. Turn to HIGH. Stir in pineapple. Combine cornstarch with 3 Tbsp. water; add to cooker. Stir until slightly thickened.

Very easy to make, and flavorful. As with most crock pot recipes the meat is very very tender, but also a little bit chewy.
