My mom made this roast when I was a kid . Now I make it for my 3 sons they love it.
1 3-4 lb Chuck roast
1 Envelope beefy onion soup
1 can Cream of celery soup
(or cream of mushroom)
1-2 cans Vegetable or beef broth
Salt & pepper to taste
season roast w / salt & pepper . mix remaining ingredents w/ wisk .place roast in crock pot cover w/ broth mixture.cook on low 8-9 hours.( if roast is not completly covered use extra can of broth.)
if you like thicker gravy when roast is done put broth mixture in a pot on stove bring to a boil add 1 teaspoon corn starch at a time until desired thickness
