4 Qts. cucumbers, thinly sliced
1/2 c. Kosher salt
2 Qts. sliced onions, drained
1 Qt. cider vinegar
4 c. Sugar
2 tbsp. Mustard seed
1 tbsp. Ginger
1 tsp. Turmeric
1 tbsp. Celery seed
Place first 3 ingredients in large container for 2 hours.
Place remaining ingredients in pan and bring to a boil, boil 10 minutes. Add cucumbers and onions. Bring to boil again. Pack immediately in sterilized jars. Yield: 8 (12 oz.) jars.
