Ingredients

Pita
2 tbsp Tomato or pizza sauce
Favorite pizza toppings
1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese

Preparation

Put tomato sauce on pita and then a small amout of the cheese. Next add favorite pizza toppings and cover with remaining cheese. Bake on 400 for 10-15 min until slightly brown on top.

This is one of my favorite ways to make a quick pizza dinner. It can be as fancy or as simple as you wish to make it. My favorite is to use a chunky arrabiata (spicy tomato) sauce and top the pizza with sauteed onions and diced apple chicken sausage. Instead of using shredded mozzarella cheese, I use the kind that comes in the tub with liquid. Then, I can place chunks of it strategically around the pizza. It's just a more mild, creamier version of the cheese.
