Ingredients
1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup Tamari soy sauce
1/4 cup Tomato paste
1/4 cup Maple syrup
1 To 2 olive oil
2 Large cloves garlic, peeled and finely minced
1/2 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
Hot sauce to taste
2 To 3 drops mesquite smoke
2 packages Tempeh
Preparation
1. In a blender or with a whisk, makes all of the ingredients together.
2. Adjust the seasonings to your taste.
3. Use immediately or refrigerate until needed in a tightly sealed container for up to one week.
Brush tempeh with sauce. Set aside until ready to cook.
