Pasta Primavera with Salmon

Ingredients

1 pkg. MCCORMICK FOUR CHEESE SAUCE MIX

1 bag (16 oz.) H-E-B STEAMABLES EDAMAME PASTA BLEND

1 pouch (6 oz. ) HONEY BOY BONELESS, SKINLESS, COOKED SALMON

Preparation

1. In a large skillet, prepare sauce according to package instructions.

2. Add entire pouch of salmon. Do not stir. Reduce heat to low.

3. Heat Vegetables according to package instructions. When done, fold vegetables into salmon and cream sauce. Serve hot.

Cook's Notes

If you assemble all ingredients before preparing, you can make sauce while veggies are microwaving. I used medium saucepan on stovetop, and 8x8" glass baking dish to heat veggies and serve final dish. McCormick Sauce mix instructs adding butter and milk to mix. H-E-B Steamables Edamame Pasta Blend is bowtie pasta, edamame beans, broccoli florets, baby carrots, and red pepper in a bag designed for steaming contents in bag in microwave. Can also prepare veggies/pasta in the 8x8" glass baking dish in microwave with a 1/4 c water. Microwave cooking times may vary. Substitutions: Can use McCormick Creamy Alfredo Sauce Mix, your favorite cream sauce, or make a garlic/herb/olive oil sauce. If using McCormick Four Cheese Sauce Mix, can use non-trans-fat margarine, olive oil or canola oil instead of butter. Instead of milk, try plain soymilk. 3/4 c or 6 oz. canned salmon, canned chicken, canned tuna, or cooked chicken breast can be used instead of pouch salmon, if desired.
