Sausage Pita Wedges

EVERYONE LOVES this recipe!!!!!!! Try it, mix new items in it, I KNOW you'll enjoy it as much as we do!

Ingredients

1 package Wheat Pita Bread (usually has about 4 in it)

1 to 2 packages Swiss Shredded Cheese (Depends on how much you like cheese)

1 package Skinless Sausage

A few TBSPS. of Olive Oil

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350` F.

On a Baking Sheet either spray non-stick spary or line with foil.

Cut Sausage (on an angle) into about 1/2" slices.

Cut Pitas into 6 Wedges PER Pita (you should end up with at least 24)

Take a Pita Wedge, put a Sausage slice inside, then add the cheese (on the inside). ***NOTE***They won't be able to close anymore. Which is Okay!***

Arrange the finished Wedges to fit as many as possible onto the Baking Sheet. I suggest changing their direction often.

Spray, or Brush on the Olive Oil on the top sides of every Wedge.

Pop in the Oven for 5 -8 mins. or until they start to brown.

Cook's Notes

You can substitute other cheeses, however I think you will be pleased with it the original way! Also, It varies on the amount this recipe makes, however it ALWAYS makes at least enough to feed 4 to 6 AND have leftovers! PLUS they are GREAT cold with mustard or mayo * We like HoneyMustard*. And remember to NOT drench them in the oil, they are soggy that way! Please let me know what you think or if any more questions.....mystofthebat @ sbcglobal .net
