Don't know what to do with that meat? Need a VERY simple meal plan, but you're gonna be gone all day to work? Start this one in the morning, and dinner's done when you get home.

Ingredients

3-4 Chicken Breasts

Or

1 Chicken, cut up

Or

3-4 Pork chops or loins

Or

1 pound Beef, any cut, or cut up

Or

Frozen bagged meatballs

Or

Other meat (turkey drumsticks, wings, buffalo wings, venison, etc)

1-2 bottles Hickory smoke barbecue sauce

1 can Bush's baked beans

Preparation

Get up just 5 minutes early for work.

Pour a little barbecue sauce to cover the bottom of slow-cooker.

Place meat in slow-cooker (almost any real meat will do, frozen solid usually even works.).

Cover with remaining barbecue sauce.

Place lid and set on low.

Cooks all day while you're at work.

Come home 6-8 hours later, heat the baked beans and pour over the rest (or add them to the slow cooker 1 hour before done.).

Serve to hungry, happy family. Congratulations! You're a true "Gourmet Goof-off!"

Cook's Notes

Add a veggie on the side or a fresh-fruit dessert, and you've got a real meal here that the family almost inhales.
