1. Brown & drain ground beef.
2. Add pepper & onion and saute til onion is transparent.
3. add remaining ingredients EXCEPT for brown sugar.
4. Simmer on medium heat with lid ajar and stir every ten minutes for 40-50 minutes.
%. Add brown sugar and cook 5 minutes more.
This tastes even better the next day.
I lke to serve it with tortilla chips instead of crackers and with a torn up slice of American cheese on it.
