2 Large ripe red tomatioes, halved, horizontally
Pinch of salt (optional)
Pinch of freshly ground black pepper (optional)
Place the tomatoes on a broiler pan rack, cut sides facing up. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, if using. Broail for 7-10 minutes, until well-browned
Broil with steaks. After turning steaks add tomatoes to broiler pan rack and broil with meat for 7-10 minutes.
