Tofu Nuggets

Easy tofu recipe perfect for kids. My toddler loves them.

Ingredients

1 pkg. Firm tofu

1/2 cup Seasoned bread crumbs

Milk, melted butter or water for dredging

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350. Slice tofu into strips. Dip into milk, melted butter or water. Dip into and cover with bread crumbs. Bake on cookie sheet lined with foil and sprayed with non-stick cooking spray for 15-20 minutes, turning once.

Cook's Notes

My 20 month old loves these and has been eating them since she started on table food. You can cut these into any size strips or chunks you want. I separate out individual servings in freezer bags and freeze them. When I need a quick meal for her, I defrost in microwave for about a minute. Then put them on a foil lined tray in the toaster over at 350 for about 10-15 minutes. I found microwaving doesn't work. Not crispy enough. It's quick, it's nutritious and easy!
