Aunt Barbara's Lasagna- perfect for potluck

Ingredients

1 lb Ground beef

Large jar spaghetti sauce

2 Eggs

8 oz Cottage cheese, small curd

2 cups Grated Mozzarella

2 cups Grated cheddar

Lasagna noodles, cooked

Preparation

Mix the eggs and cottage cheese together in a small bowl. Brown the ground beef and drain. Mix the ground beef and the spaghetti sauce together. In an oblong dish (9x13), layer the noodles, then the meat mixture, dollops of egg mixture, and then the shredded cheeses. Repeat layers until you have used up your ingredients (about 3 layers), ending with cheese on top.

Cook in a 350-375 oven for 45 minutes, covered. Uncover for the last ten minutes.

Cook's Notes

You can freeze this lasagna before baking or make it ahead of time and refrigerate until you are ready to bake. I use Prego traditional sauce and the lasagna noodles that do not need to be boiled!
