Bacon & Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

1-1/2 lb. Potatoes (about 4 medium potatoes), unpeeled, quartered

1/2 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing

4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled

1/4 tsp. Garlic powder

1/4 tsp. Salt

1/8 tsp. Pepper

1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese

Preparation

COVER potatoes with water in large saucepan. Bring to boil; reduce heat to medium. Cook 20 minutes or until tender. Drain.

MASH potatoes. Add dressing, bacon, garlic powder, salt and pepper; beat until fluffy. Stir in cheese.

Cook's Notes

Great Substitute Substitute 3 cloves garlic, minced, for the garlic powder.

These were good.. for something different.

These are the best mashed potatoes ever! I'm sure the Miracle Whip is what sets it apart. I would not substitute another salad dressing for this. They are so fluffy and flavorful. I made meatloaf and sweet peas to eat with these, however I put the other stuff in the fridge and made a meal out of the potatoes.
