Balsamic Portobello Mushrooms

Phase 1

Ingredients

1 Shallot or diced red onion

3 cups Portobello mushrooms

1 Garlic clove

3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar

Spritz of olive oil

Thyme

Basil

Chives

Preparation

spritz nonstick pan with olive oil. Saute shallots/onions for 2 min. Add garlic and saute for 1 more min. Add portobello mushrooms, vinegar, thyme, and basil. Lower heat and cover pan. Cook for 7-12 min. Until mushrooms have turned brownish in color and become flexible.

Cook's Notes

If pan becomes dry, add a splash of water, broth, or cooking wine.
