Barbecued Pork Chops

The barbecue sauce is excellent for chicken, too! Kids love this recipe with mashed potatoes and green beans!

Ingredients

6 Pork chops

2 tbs Margarine

1 c Catsup

1/2 c Water

1/4 c Vinegar

1/4 c Brown sugar

2 tbs Worcestershire Sauce

2 t Dry mustard

1 t Paprika

1 c Chopped onion

Preparation

Brown chops in margarine. Drain drippings. Combine catsup, water, vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika and onion in 2 quart bowl. Pour over browned chops. Cover and simmer 45-50 minutes or until tender.

Serves 4-6

Note: I like to thicken the barbecue sauce a bit (if needed) after the cooking time. Just remove the chops and thicken with a little cornstarch/water.

Cook's Notes

I've also done this using a crockpot. Just put the browned chops in the crockpot and pour the sauce over and let cook.
