This was ok. Served with spinach salad and over Basmati rice. The juice was good over the rice. Wish I would have added some chili powder for a kick. Could just as easily cook in the oven.

My kids are picky...and thought it was too sweet. I thought it wasn't bad with mashed potatoes. I'm looking for recipes that my kids will like so I'm giving a lower score from that perspective.

Loved this! I added 1 tsp. chili powder. I cooked it for 4 hours, 20 minutes but I think it was a tad too long even on low -- 3 hours, 45 minutes might have been perfect. Can't believe how easy it was and it's a perfect weeknight meal or even have-company-over meal!

If you want to cut the sweetness a little, use some jarred chili sauce. It goes great w/the cranberry.

I read the other comments before I made this and I wish I hadn't. My husband loved it, but I used the grated peel of a whole orange including the juice and I thought it tasted to orangey. That really overpowered the cranberry flavor. I also stuffed the roast with garlic and seasoned it with 1 tsp salt and extra pepper, which was perfect. Preparation was quick and easy. This recipe is definitely a keeper. Thanks for posting!!

Didn't really care for it. I like cranberries and pork, but the combo didn't do anything for us. Needed more salt.

As another suggested, I also added the zest and juice of a whole orange to sauce. Additionally, I created a finishing sauce with another can of whole cranberry sauce, 1 TBS brown sugar, 4 c of strained pork juice from crock-pot and about 2 TBS corn starch to thicken. I know this is a bit sugary and unhealthy, but it really added a nice touch to this excellent recipe. Served with Basmati rice and spinach salad.

A family favorite for years, with pilaf and steamed green beans. I usually "wash" part of the cranberry sauce away. making it less sweet, but leaving cranberries, which we like better than frozen ones. A friend's wife uses same ingredients and technique with beef brisket - he says it's best ever.

I wish in the nutrition information they would give the sugars content in grams. Noticed only carb which is sugar and other and I am especially watching my sugar intake

I have been considering making this recipe for some time - and finally made it last night. It was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. I made steamed rice and broccoli to go with it, plus a spinach salad. I am curious what other's use as side dishes.

I've made a slightly different version of this before, instead of cranberry sauce which is full of sugars I use frozen cranberries . Cranberries, orange and pork go wonderfully together! A definite hit at our house!

The pork roast was tender and the hint of orange was delicious!

Very easy and delicious. My husband loved it. We'll experiment with the ingredients and tweak the sauce more to our liking.

It was pretty good. I am not much of a pork fan but the sauce was good.

This is delicious and so easy. I used the peel from an entire large navel orange, and also added about 1/4 orange juice and a couple of dashes of garlic powder.
