Ingredients

3 English muffins, split (6 halves)
1/2 cup Pizza or pasta sauce
Pizza toppings (choose any 3):
Grated carrots
Sliced mushrooms
Chopped broccoli
Pineapple chunks
Chopped green or red pepper
Sliced zucchini
1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated

Preparation

1. Spread about one tablespoon sauce on each muffin half.

2. Arrange your favorite toppings on the "crust" in a single layer. Use at least three colors.

3. Sprinkle one tablespoon cheese on each pizza.

4. Place pizzas on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

Pita bread is the best. Ever since I made pita pizzas my family won't even let me order a pizza from anywhere! Some other toppings that make a regular appearance on our pizzas are fresh spinach leaves, fresh tomato, turkey pepperoni, pepperoncinis, and feta or goat cheese crumbles. Cheaper and tastier than any restaurant!

I used crescent rolls and just rolled them flat. It's better to bake them for five minutes first and then add the toppings.

i used bagels instead , and I let my kids help. It was great fun and very yummy

I prefer to use bagels instead of English muffins. This is a great, easy recipe that I use as a back-up plan if I don't feel like cooking.
