Smoked Salmon Canapes

Ingredients

6 slices Dark rye cocktail bread, toasted

2 ounces Thinly sliced smoked salmon

2 Small packages (3 ounces) cream cheese with chives

1 Small can sliced black olives, drained

Dill sprigs for garnish

Preparation

Cut each slice of toasted cocktail rye bread in half diagonally. Top each half with a thin strip of smoked salmon.

With a filled pastry bag, pipe a rosette of chive cream cheese on top of salmon.

Garnish each open-face sandwich with several slices of black olives and a sprig of dill for color. Makes twelve kosher dairy sandwiches.

Cook's Notes

This recipe can be doubled or tripled for serving at larger gatherings. If not served right away, refrigerate immediately.
