Chuck Roast Sandwiches

My mom

My mom made these tangy sandwiches for us and wrote down the recipe (in her head) for me on a napkin!

Ingredients

1/3 cup Cider vinegar

1/4 cup Ketchup

2 tbsp Vegetable oil

2 tbsp Soy sauce

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Mustard

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Pepper

1/2 cup Applesauce

2-1/2 to 3 lbs Boneless chuck roast

All purpose flour

Sandwich rolls

Preparation

Cut roast into 4 pieces and roll in flour with salt and pepper. Brown pieces in skillet with vegetable oil. Put browned pieces, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, mustard, and applesauce in crock pot. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 8 hours. Spoon into sandwich rolls and serve.
