Mix stock, 1/2 c sauce, baking soda and salt, set aside
Beat with electric mixer till light- approxim. 6 minutes, adding stock slowly while continuing to beat on med. Turn mixer on high and add lard, 1 T at a time, beat till light and fluffly. Drop 1 T in cold water. if it floats, it is done, if not, continue beating.
Fill and wrap tamales.
