Pear Salad with Walnuts and Gorgonzola

This is a delicious salad that is loaded with nutrients

Ingredients

20oz Lettuce

2 Ripe Bartlett Pears cored and chopped

1 Medium tomato, cored, seeded and finely chopped

3/4 cup Chopped glazed walnuts

1/4 cup Crumbled Gorgonzola cheese

Pear vinaigrette

Ground black pepper

Preparation

1. Place greens, pears, tomato, walnuts, and cheese in a large bowl. Drizzle with vinaigrette and toss well to coat.

Serve immediately.

Pear Vinaigrette: Combine 1 (15 oz.) can juice-packed, drained Bartlett pears, 1/3 extra virgin olive oil, 1/3 cup white wine vinegar and 1/2 tsp. salt in a blender container; mix well. Chill until ready to use.

Cook's Notes

Use any dressing you want; but this is a good dressing also
