Cheese burger Pie

Ingredients

1 pound Ground meat

1 Small onion chopped

1 cup Shredded cheese

2 Eggs

1/2 cup Bisquick

1 cup Milk

Preparation

Brown meat and onion and drain. Spray pan with cooking spray. Place meat and onion mixture in the bottom of a 10 inch pie pan. Top with cheese. Mix Bisquick, milk and beaten eggs. Place on top of the cheese. Bake 400 degrees for 25 minutes.

Really good, easy, tasty, & hearty one dish meal. Upon 1st reading the recipe, I automatically assumed "grated cheese" meant parmasan, which seemed odd. Then I read the exact same recipe on my Bisquick box (minus salt) & it says "shredded cheddar cheese", which made much more sense. :)

Was a really good dish. Next time we make it, we will probably do a breakfast sausage and add some different veggies to make it more colorful.

I use ground turkey. I keep ground turkey in the freezer and can make this meal on work nights since I usually have the rest of the ingredients on hand.
