Steak, Veggies and Rice

Ingredients

2 tbs Cornstarch
2 tsp Beef boullion granules
2 cup Water
1/2 cup Soy sauce
20 oz Lean boneless beef sirloin
2 Green pepper julienned
2 Onion halved and sliced
2 Garlic cloves minced
4 tsp Canola oil
4 Tomatoes cut into eighths
16 oz Sliced water chestnuts drained
1/4 tsp Pepper
8 cups Cooked rice

Preparation

1-in a bowl combine cornstarch, boulion, water and soy sauce and set aside.

2-cut steak thinly across the grain then cut slices in half and set aside.

3-in a nonstick skillet, stir fry green pepper, onion and garlic in oil for 4 minutes. remove and set aside.

4-add meat and stir fry for 4-6 minutes.

5-stir cornstarch mixture and add to pan.

6-bring to a boil and stir for 1 minute.

7-add tomatoes, chestnuts and green pepper mixture.

8-cook and stir until heated through..

9-sprinkle with pepper and serve over rice.

Cook's Notes

For lower sodium omit beef boullion
