Baked Spaghetti

Family Recipe

This is a nice alternative to regular spaghetti.

Ingredients

1/2 lb Bacon, cut up into pieces

1 Med onion, chopped

24 oz Tomato sauce

1 box Spaghetti

1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese

Salt, pepper, other seasonings

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Prepare spaghetti according to package directions.

Fry bacon.

Saute onion.

Combine cooked spaghetti, bacon, onion, tomato sauce and desired spices in casserole dish and mix together. Top with shredded cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until cheese is brown on top.

Cook's Notes

You can substitute reduced fat cheese for regular cheese. I always use low fat cheese when I make this. This recipe is easy to increase or decrease depending upon number of desired servings.

Only one out of three kids in my family liked this. I thought it was too much bacon. I won't make this one again
