This week includes St. Patrick’s Day, a festive celebration of Irish food, folklore and fun. To help kick off the celebration; we have combined some of our favorite green dishes with traditional ingredients from the Emerald Isle. The pot of gold at the end of this rainbow is the time you spend with your family preparing and enjoying these healthy family meals.
Start with a featured family meal of Pizza with Potato and Artichoke Topping, which celebrates one of Ireland’s staple foods, Asparagus with Romano Cheese and Pine Nuts and Limeaid Milk Chillers. Keep your leprechauns happy throughout the week with traditional Irish fare like Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage, Irresistible Irish Soda Bread and other green recipes like Low-fat Avocado Dip and Shamrock Soup.
