Hopefully you have already noticed a new approach on the Meals Matter Blog with the addition of Meals Matter Moms, a series of blogs written by staff of the Dairy Council of California. This series will discuss nutrition, eating, feeding, meal planning and physical activity as it relates to families and the real issues we deal with every day.
Our Meals Matter Moms have children ranging from infants to adults, so they are in the trenches, dealing with the feeding, eating, and body image issues that impact our kids. Most of our mom writers are registered dietitians and know that it takes small steps to create healthy lives. Over the next few months, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know each of them and hopefully be inspired by their successes, failures and advice.
Like our website, our shared stories are meant to inspire you to take a positive approach to your food selection and meal planning rather than worrying about what not to eat.
