quick, tasty breakfast or snack
1/2 - 3/4 cup low fat cottage cheese
1 - 2 cup Fruit
2 - 3 tsp Slivered almonds
Put cottage cheese on plate, arrange fruit on or around cottage cheese. Sprinkle slivered almonds over all. Enjoy!
Canned fruits in natural or lite juice work well with this. I use the new Dole Tropical Fruits in the plastic jar which makes it easy just to take out the amount of fruit you want. Other fruits: seedless grapes, fresh or canned peaches, cubed cantelope, mandarin oranges - the possibilities are endless!
