Ingredients

1/2 pkg Diced ham (pre-cooked)
1/2 cup Shredded cheese (pick your favorite)
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 cup Cooked peas
1 pkg Crescent rolls
Egg white

Preparation

1. pre-heat oven per crescent package instructions

2. in skillet over medium heat warm together ham & peas

2. gently roll out crescent dough so perforations disappear

3. divide dough into 8 squares

4. brush each square with dijon mustard

5. place tsp of ham/pea mixture on 1/2 of dough & sprinkle with cheese (leaving edges open)

6. brush edges with egg whites and fold over second half of dough sealing edges together with finger or fork.

7. bake in oven per crescent package instructions until golden brown, will probably be on the longer side of the bake time due to the filling.

Cook's Notes

Versatile recipe. Can substitute any meats for ham (or leave out for vegetarian) , and vegies (or mix of vegies) for peas. When substituting may want to have alternative to mustard in some cases such as chipotle mayo or ranch dressing.
