Fresh Tomato, Basil, and Chesse Pizza

So good!! And only 264 calories for 2 pieces!!!

Ingredients

1 14 ounce Italian cheese flavored pizza crust ( I like Boboli)

2 teaspoon Olive oil

1/2 cup Grated fresh parmesan cheese

3 Tomatoes cut into 1/4 inch slices

6 Garlic cloves thinly sliced

1/4 tsp. Salt

1/8 tsp. Black pepper

1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

2. Place pizza crust on a baking sheet. Brush crust with olive oil. Sprinkle with 1/4 c. Parm cheese, leaving a 1/2 inch border around edge of crust. Arrange tomato slices over cheese, overlapping edges; top wiht garlic slices, remaining 1/4 cup cheese, salt, and pepper.

3. Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until crust is golden. Remove pizza to a cutting board and top with fresh basil leaves. Cut into 12 rectangular pieces.

Cook's Notes

If kids are not a fan of basil you can leave it off for them. I will sometimes buy a 2 pack of the Boboli crust and make one like this and then make a plain cheese for the kids. I serve with a fresh green salad.
